BASTA IS MAKING SOME CHANGES
May 31st through June 3rd, BASTA will be closed for some small renovations. On June 4th, we will reopen with an updated menu, bar program and space modifications.
One big addition to the menu is our pre-order program for family-style dining experiences. Popular dishes, like large format proteins with sides, or lasagna, which was recently featured on the cover of the 5280 Cookbook, will be available with seven days notice.
We will also now be accepting reservations for our unique and intimate chef's table with an option for an exclusive tasting menu served to you by the chefs.
The expanded bar program will include the addition of bottle-aged, batched and traditional cocktails.

We'd also like to announce a special fundraising event for Chefs Collaborative. Chef Kelly Whitaker is the local chapter leader and we are kicking off the national campaign, MEAT MATTERS. It will take place May 31st at Wurstkuche in Denver from 2pm-6pm, and aims to bring attention to the misuse of antibiotics and hormones in meat. Many of Denver's top chefs will be creating their own artisanal sausages, Prost Brewing is donating craft beer and Grateful Bread is providing all of the bread. General admission tickets are $40 and there is also a limited VIP ticket, which includes a sausage-making demo from Western Daughters and libations from the RiNO Yacht Club. GET TICKETS
